Couvade for the modern Man

Inspired by the Mediaeval Basque rituals of the 19th century, where at the time of birth an expectant father would take to his bed and mimic the pains of labour: this device is designed for a father to hurt himself at regular intervals during the birth of his child, and in doing so feel more in touch with the mother's experience.
